Douglas B. Evans, President
Douglas Evans is the president of Dotcast; he is also a member
of the Company’s Board of Directors. Formerly an attorney
with Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, he also worked
for more than 20 years in the technology and entertainment fields.
Mr. Evans is past Governing Committee Member of the American
Bar Association Forum on Entertainment and Sports Law and was
Chairman of its Section on Interactive Media and New Technologies.
Mr. Evans received his JD from Northwestern University in Chicago.
He also holds an LLM in European Community Law from the University
of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Thomas Bentson, Vice President, Operations
Tom Bentson has 20 years experience in research and development
of sophisticated technology products. His expertise includes design
of low frequency electromagnetic measurement equipment, development
and production of automated medical devices, and software product
development.
Mr. Bentson formerly worked at the Naval Ocean Systems Center
in San Diego, CA and at the Boeing High Technology Center in Bellevue,
WA. He also served as Manager and Principle Investigator at Science
Applications International Corporation. There, Mr. Bentson led
a team that designed and developed several generations of underwater
surveillance technology. Before joining Dotcast in 1998, he was
a manager at Tripath Imaging, Inc., a developer of complex medical
imaging devices.
Mr. Bentson received his BS in Mathematics from Western Washington
University. He also attended graduate school at both Western Washington
University and the University of Washington.
